Special Topics Presentations

Our 2018 Symposium included presentations on research and special topics relating to Smarter Lunchrooms strategies that went above and beyond the standard Technical Assistance Provider (TAP) certification program. Our guests from around the country, along with the SLM National Office staff, shared their expertise on a variety of high-interest subjects. These videos and other resources are now available through video-on-demand streaming.

The research presentations and posters were made public in July can be found here.

The special topics are now available also here. These include using social media platforms to maximize impact, creating Smarter Lunchrooms state collaboratives, boosting breakfast participation, how to measure consumption, how to write a successful grant application, the Smarter Mealtimes program, and others. Where applicable, supplemental tools or links to related webinars are included.

For more Symposium content that is now available online, visit our free resources library, webinar library, flavor station materials, and updated local wellness policy guidance pages.

We hope these resources prove to be both interesting and useful
to all those who seek to expand the impact of Smarter Lunchrooms in their schools!
